It started with something I planted.
Before Hurricane Katrina, I went looking for loquats growing around New Orleans, found some seeds, and planted them in my backyard. Four trees came up. It took three years before they finally bore fruit.
A friend tasted one and told me its name in Arabic: Askadinya — "the best of worlds."
Years later, naming my design company, I remembered that. The seed, the wait, the fruit, the meaning — it all fit. That's how Askadinya Designs began, and how it grew, as the work grew, into Askadinya Launch.

Founder’s Story
The road is different. The destination is the same.
Over the years, I watched people talk about businesses they wanted to start, projects they hoped to release, and websites they wanted to build. When asked what was holding them back, there was always something standing in the way. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to launch.
In most cases, the real issue was not money. Many already had successful businesses. The problem was the overwhelm—the lack of organization, planning, and a clear place to begin.
I remember how I felt before I knew anything about web development. Gathering content and images, choosing a design, deciding how many pages were needed, and determining what belonged on each page felt daunting. Without a structure in place, I did not know where to start. No one gave me a worksheet or process to help organize my website.
I eventually learned through trial and error. That experience led me to website design and, later, to creating a framework that helped guide my development process.
Along the way, I met new and established business owners selling products and services, producing films, and building professional portfolios. They faced many of the same challenges: balancing their work, understanding the bigger picture, and figuring out how all the pieces should come together. Like me, they often did not know what to do, how to do it, or why certain steps were necessary.
My training and years of experience gave me an advantage, along with a structure I could follow. Many people do not have that background. Something as basic as purchasing a domain name can feel confusing to someone unfamiliar with the process. Some hold on to domain names for years without knowing how to move forward.
Even experienced professionals may not have the knowledge or time to sort through it all. How do I update an old website? Where do I purchase a new domain name? What is hosting, and why do I need it?

My role is to meet people where they are and understand their underlying needs. The road may be different for each person, but the destination is the same—getting to the launch.
That is why the company is called Askadinya Launch.
